Rainy Sunday
Today's weather was kind of crappy so we didn't get to do too much. Adam had to work for a bit in the morning so Sadie and I went to the grocery store. After Adam got home and Sadie had her nap we went over to my Dad and Carrie's house. We got to hang out with them for a while, it was really nice. Sadie got to love on Mr. V (one of their cats). Later this afternoon we ran errands! Nothing too exciting has been going on (not a complaint!). This should be a fun week. Monday is our Thanksgiving party at work (delicious pot luck), Tuesday I'm off, Wednesday we close at 2 and Thursday is Thanksgiving! I am really looking forward to Thursday. I am happy to be seeing some of my family I don't get to see that often. Plus, it's always fun to show Sadie off!

Halloween.
Here are the Pics of Sadie from Friday morning and Saturday. Friday she went to school and Saturday Adam, Sadie and I went to "boo at the zoo" at the Santa Fe College zoo. It was fun. It was pretty dark so we couldn't really see the animals. Sadie still had fun though. Friday night was our big work Halloween party. We had our haunted house and it went so well. I had so much fun doing it. I sat in front of this fuzzy tv and chased after people on my hands and knees "ring style". Adam and Henry were in it too. Henry was a man behind this curtain "chopping" someone up, when people can by Adam would slide out from under the curtain and then Henry would pull him back. It was really cool. Anyhow, it's already November, I can't believe it. This morning Sadie and I went to Sun Country Sports center and did this fun morning playgroup. She got to climb and slide and play in the foam pit. Now she napping! Anyhow, Hopefully Sunday will be nice, Adam and I are going to plan to do something outside. Maybe LaChua trail again or Ring park or Cofrin or something. We'll see. Loves.

Tower of Terror 13K
I ran my first "race" this weekend! Disney's 13K Tower of Terror. It was great. I did much better than I expected myself to. I ran a lot of it an walked some (8 miles is a lot!). It felt really good. The first couple of miles were kinda hard, then I just took off. I ran the race with Mom, Laura and Elena. We started together but ended up running at different paces. Adam took a couple of pics during the race. The blurry one is about 7 1/2 miles, the other is at the finish line! Anyhow, I am a little sore today but I am so glad I did it. I want to do some 5K's with Adam soon. Sadie stayed in Ocala with Mama and Papa and had a good time too! Back to work tomorrow. The end of this coming week is our big Halloween party. I am really excited about that! Loves

So cool!
Have loved, loved, loved the weather this weekend. It has been so awesome. I was off and was able to enjoy it with the Sad-miester. Saturday, while Sadie was at home napping with daddy, my Mom and I went and got pedicures at the mall. It was fun, my toes are pink and the big ones have a little white flower. So girly! Adam closed last night so Sadie an I just went to the park with my mom and Tommy and hung out. Today Adam had to work again :( Sadie and I hung out in the morning, went to the grocery store, started laundry. She took a long nap and then Adam came home. We ran to the mall and got some "tarts" from Yankee candle company. 3 different kinds! Then we went to the park. Sadie LOVES Westside park. This evening we just had dinner and hung around the house. I think it's going to warm back up again this week. I wish the weather would just hurry up and figure out what it wants to do! Anyhow we're all doing well.

Super cute, super cute, she's super cutie!
Not too much to update. We are all well. Sadie didn't end up going to the the Doc today. They called me yesterday and said that the chicken pox shot wasn't available. So, we rescheduled. I was bummed because I had some questions for Dr. Rosi about Sadie's "allergies" and some other things. I was off today so Sadie and I just had a girls day at home. She played and I cleaned. I am soooo behind on laundry, so it was nice to get caught up putting it all away. Although, now, I have a bunch of ironing to do! Oh well. The top 2 pics are from earlier today. The bottom 2 are from Saturday. Adam put these cute sandals on her. He said she did pretty well standing in them. They're like flip flops with back straps. Anyhow, I hope everyone else is doing well! Back to work and "school" tomorrow. Loves

updates...sort of...
So, I haven't posted in a while. Thought maybe it was time to put some cute pics of the wee one. Not much is going on with us. Everyone is doing well. We had been taking Sadie to the park a lot last week, while it was nice. I will be very happy when it cools off for a while. Anyhow. Adam is starting to count the days down until he is done with grad school. His classes end on December 12th and his graduation is December 19th. I am so excited for him. I would like to try and have a graduation party for him. My mom's big 5-0 is coming up in a couple of weeks. I am running a 13k with her and Laura at MGM (well I think it's called Hollywood studios or something now). I have been training when I can. I have a feeling my time is going to be terrible. Oh well.
Sadie is getting so vocal now. She can say a lot more words. She has started saying "cookie" and "quack" obviously they aren't perfectly clear bu good enough to know what she's saying. She is also getting much more comfortable exploring. We had to get cabinets with doors for our DVD's. Sadie was pulling them all down.
well, enjoy the pics.

Hangin' around
Just wanted to post some pics of Sadie from this past week. They are just really cute. Saturday Sadie and I went to a quilt show in Jacksonville with my mom. It was neat to see all the beautiful quilts. Some were so intricate. Today we just hung out, bought some groceries. It was kind of nice outside this evening, so we went for a walk. Nothing too exciting but relaxing. Sadie had a little ear infection last week so she had been on antibiotics. Since she has taken them, her nose has stopped running! This kid has had a runny nose for about 7 months now and nothing we did made it go away until now! I hope it stays this way for a while. I'm sure it's nice for her to have this reprieve. When we were at the Dr.'s, she prescribed Sadie some Allegra so if her nose gets bad again, we'll try that. It makes me wonder if she has as bas of allergies as we thought or just a sinus infection. Anyhow. Back to school and work tomorrow. We are starting to get things together for our Halloween party at work. Legacy always puts on a big party for the residents. Last year we did a haunted house. It turned out really great and everyone enjoyed it, so we're doing it again this year. I'll be sure to take pics and video this year! Enjoy the pictures.

Chicago
So, I should've posted these earlier this week when we got back, but it has been non stop stuff every evening and work during the day! We had a fantastic trip...
Thursday- Flew out of Jacksonville airport, great flight. Sadie fussed just a little bit on the way up (her ears I'm sure) and during landing. Other than that she was great. Got into O'Hare airport and picked up our rental car (very nice Nissan Maxima!) and went to Adam's Grandparents' house. Got unloaded and Sadie napped and we just hung out. Went to bed early that night!
Friday- Adam's GP's took us to the Kohl Children's museum in Glenview Illinois. It's like a 10-15 minute drive from where they live. It was SO much fun. Some of the stuff Sadie was still a bit too little for, but she (and we) had a blast anyways. There is like several different sections set up there. A mini dominick's (like Publix) where they can pretend to shop or be a cashier or bagger. Sadie liked putting the stuff in the cart. They had a mini"daycare" where kids can "take care" of babies (dolls). Sadie wasn't sure about the dolls she kept poking it in the eye! There's a "body" section and a pet vet section, a music section, where Sadie got to play different types of music makers. We had such a great time. I want to take her back there next year when she's running around. After that we went into the Glenview town center (it's like a way better version of Tioga) and had lunch. Later Adam, Sadie and I went to the Golf Mill mall and walked around. After Sadie went to bed Adam and I saw a movie in Glenview (Adam's GP's stayed with Sadie).
Saturday-We finally went downtown and to the Shedd Aquarium. Sadie has been to the Tampa Aquarium and Sea World and LOVES fish. It was a great Aquarium. We walked around and showed Sadie everything. We all dressed up like penguins in the "polar north" section and Sadie got to slide down the "habitat" area slide. We noticed it was SUPER crazy downtown (more than usual) and found out as we were walking around that U2 was playing at Soldier field right next door! We stood and listed for a bit. After that we walked around downtown, went into some of the shops. We sort of found this great little park in the center of all this craziness. We took Sadie in and she got to swing and slide. It was really cool. By the time we got back to Adam's GP's we were exhausted. We put Sadie down and weren't far behind!
Sunday-We decided to go to Navy pier and walk around down there. It was alright. The weather was awesome while we were there so it worked out. We didn't do any of the rides or anything but it was nice to walk around. We decided to try and find a good pizza place so we ended up walking about 10 or so blocks back into downtown and ate some delicious pizza at Pizza Duo. Super yummy deep dish pizza! Luckily we walked it off going back to Navy Pier (since that's where the car was!). Later we went home and had a nice family dinner.
Monday we flew home. Also a great flight!
I am so happy we got to go to Chicago, it was great to see Adam's GP's again and I am thrilled they got to meet Sadie. We will definitely be going back again soon!
Today Adam and I both worked. Mama and Papa came up here and sat with Sadie for us. Tomorrow My dad and Carrie are coming over to visit and then in the evening we are going out to dinner with Adam's family for his brother Ross's birthday (21st!). Adam's Bday is on Wednesday (so is his bro Henry's!-13 years to the day!). Also, Sadie starts her new Daycare on Monday...which we are ecstatic about. I hope everything works out since the other place ended up being not so great. If you haven't heard the story and want to know just call me. It's a long story and I think everyone that reads this has already heard it!
So, we're starting another busy week. All I can say is I love my life and thank God for my hubby and daughter and my family and friends.
Today's Kabbalah:
Unlike most foods, the longer you boil an egg, the harder it gets. Perfect analogy for us. The longer we hold on to what we think is "the right way" the harder our hearts become and the more we close ourselves off to opportunity.
Today, let go of your cherished opinions. Make room for a different perspective. When you do that, you get more than you ever thought was possible.

Been too long.
Wow! It's September already! Quite some time has passed since I last posted, although, not too much has changed. Adam and I went to see O.A.R. It was a great concert. A lot of energy. We had fun at the beach too! Sadie spent the night at Gigi's house she had fun over there. A few days before we went to St. Augustine, Mama and Papa came to Gville and took care of Sadie for a day for us. I think everyone had a great time.
Well, we are starting to get ready for our trip to Chicago next week. I am excited and anxious to go. We reserved a car and we're staying with Adam's grandparents. We have some things that we are planning on doing while we're there. Hopefully, Sadie will enjoy the trip! We'll have lots of pics to post when we come back.
Sadie has one f her top front teeth almost totally in and the other not too far behind. She has been eating like a big girl. Hot dogs, chicken nuggets (without the skin), fruit, veggies, oatmeal...she's just growing up so quickly.
Sunday (we cam back from the beach Saturday afternoon), we went over to my Dad's house and hung out with he, Carrie, my sis Mellina and Jerilyn. We all went swimming and had dinner. It was really great to see them. Sadie had fun playing with Jerilyn. Sasa kept trying to steal Jerilyn's sippy cup!
Anyhow, I hope everyone enjoys the pics and I'll try to post some from tomorrow (I'm off!). Loves.
Today's Kabbalah:
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Anyone judging is only seeing you from their reality. Your job is to learn from yours. When you start to realize, it's ok to screw up, you begin to loosen up and relax and things begin to flow from there.
Today, get messy, get in there and get out of this mindset that you have to perform for everyone.

Amazing butterflies!
Today Adam, Sadie and I went to the museum for the "amazing butterflies" exhibit. It was more for bigger kids (like 4-10) but we had fun anyway. Sadie enjoyed touching and playing with everything. Other than that we've just been hanging out. We tried to go swimming at Adam's parents' house but because of all the rain, the pool was too cold! Only a couple more weeks and we go to St. Augustine to see O.A.R. I am so exited! Also, we are going to be going to Chicago in September to see Adam's grandparents. I am really looking forward to that. Adam's grandparents haven't met Sadie yet so it should be fun. I am nervous about flying and especially now that we have Sadie, but Adam is a pro, so I'm sure I'll be okay. I would love to go back to Europe, but I'd be much more nervous this time! Have a good week! Loves
Today's Kabbalah:
When we risk we often feel good-more fulfilled than when we don't. One thing most people agree on is the more we give ourselves fully to the experience, the greater our pleasure in life.
We have to let go of a lot of things to do that. We have to let go of being liked, and let go of expecting others to do it too. We have to take responsibility for our own experience. We have to risk moments of standing alone.
Take a leap into the unknown. You may just find yourself.
