DISNEY!!!!!!
Photobucket is being weird and is driving me crazy so I uploaded all the good pics from Disney like this. We went last Sunday and had a great time. It was kinda crowded (spring breakers) so we only stayed from open until about 2:30. It was enough time to do pretty much everything we wanted to. Sadie did not like snow white or the peter pan ride. She was totally freaking out! She loved it's a small world and pirates of the Caribbean (except for the dark drop). I thought she was going to freak out on the haunted mansion but she fell totally asleep! (dead asleep...lol). We had a great time though. We still have 3 more days on our passes so we plan to go to animal kingdom and Epcot and maybe Disney again. I have never been to Epcot so I'm looking forward to that and I think Sadie will like all the animals at animal kingdom. We did miss the pooh ride and the jungle cruise. There was like 60 minutes wait times! We'll get them next time. Other than that nothing too exciting going on. We are going to try and go to the beach tomorrow and also the fort in St. Augustine. It's "national parks week" so admission is free! Unfortunately it is 11:54 pm and I haven't started packing up or organizing...so we'll see what happens! Nighty night!

It's spring!!
Yes, it's been a long time since I've posted. It's been craziness in the Shugan household!! I started my new job almost 2 weeks ago. It's been very busy and these 2 weeks have flown by but I'm enjoying myself. It's weird getting used to the way a company does stuff when you're used to doing and saying certain things (policies & procedures...even answering the phone!). Adam is almost done with school (knock on wood) He submitted the final draft of his thesis and is waiting for his final grade. He applied for a couple of jobs here in Gainesville. Now that he is done with his thesis he is going to apply elsewhere. We have both been looking for jobs for him around here but there's not a lot open. We kinda knew that this would be a possibility. We'll see what happens. I'm not making plans for anything besides what is happening this minute and within the foreseeable future! We still haven't been able to go to Disney with our passes. I was sick and so we weren't able to go, we were going to go this weekend but the part time person that works weekends is no longer employed there so that didn't work out. I told Adam, by the time we get to use them they will have expired! We are talking about going next weekend but I'm just gonna wait to even try and plan it! Don't wanna jinx it. The weekend of April 24-25 Adam's family will be in Chicago for his cousin's bat mitzvah (we'll be staying at their house to watch the dog :/ ) then the next weekend is Elliot's graduation in Tallahassee. Adam is definitely going, I'm not sure if I am. It depends on if I have to keep helping out on Saturdays.
We talked about renting a house. We found one right across the street from my friend Kristin. We really liked it and it would've been awesome to live across the street from Kiki and Benny. In the end, though, we decided to stay where we are. We would've had to pay deposits and all the jazz. Plus, if we do end up having to move we don't want to have any issues with getting out of a lease. At least if we do need to break our lease, we already know the breakage fees where we currently live. That makes it a little easier. Plus, I don't want to move again unless it's to a house we are either buying or a rental house we plan on staying in for the next few years...
Sadie is doing well. Her allergies are crazy right now but she is in great spirits. They had a "yay Sadie's walking" party for her at daycare (their idea). I made mini cupcakes for the kids and asked them to take pics. We took her to the butterfly garden on Easter and she had a GREAT time. She loved all the birds and butterflies. It was kind of crowded, so we'll have to go back some other time. I told Adam we should've gotten married there! It's so neat. Other than that she's just been playing and being a silly little monkey. She has been pee peeing in her potty. Not consistently but a lot. I think It'll be easier when she goes to the 2 year old class. They don't potty training until that class at daycare.
Well, I'll try to post again soon. Luckily not too much exciting stuff happens to us. I hope we'll get to go to Disney soon!

Oy Vey!!
So it's been like a month since I've posted. Things have been a little crazy! I have been fighting pneumonia. I am in the 3rd week of having it and getting over it. I am so ready to be feeling back to my normal self again. We were supposed to go to Disney last weekend...that didn't happen. Very sad. I am starting to feel better though. Sadie is doing really well. She had an ear infection but she got some antibiotics and she is all better. It wasn't a bad one. She went to the Dr.'s for a check up and she had one. No crying or fussing. I'm glad. Part of it is because her allergies/runny nose. Dr. Rosi put her on zyrtec, as needed, so maybe if we can give it to her when the clear snot starts, we can avoid infection. Hopefully it will work. I am really uncomfortable giving her zyrtec, I feel like she is too little but if it will help her then I guess it's what's best. I hope everyone enjoys the pics. some of of her playing with her new kitchen (thank you Mama and Papa) and some are from Jerilyn's birthday party this past Sunday. I can't believe Jerilyn is 3! She is getting so big. I love the pics that Adam took of her in the dress (thanks Kristin!) she looks like a big girl. Now that she is walking so well, I get to put her in dresses a lot more. She isn't getting hung up on them trying to crawl so she finally gets to wear them! Enjoy the pics...Loves

Kid space.
Posted some pics of Sadie's room because we changed a few things. I put her dresser in her closet and got one of these container storage things for toys. I hung a ribbon straight across above that with clothes pins to hang her art. Mom picked us up that cute pink chair from Ikea (we're going to get a green one too but they were out!) I hung valances over the curtains and Irene bought Sadie that cute sparkly snail pic. We are trying to make it easier and more fun for her to play and be Sadie, instead of having a room she never plays in and that is to "old" for her. Anyhow the other pics are of her from tonight. She kept putting the bucket that her blocks came in over her head and crawling around. She was so funny. I kept taking it off and she'd scrinch her nose and put it back on. So silly. Her walking is improving so much she is walking by herself now not all the time but much more. I am so excited for her. Sorry there aren't more pics. Our camera batteries died and it took us a while to get some new ones. More pics to come! Now I am going to go to Kmart and pick up valentines for Sadie's classmates and teachers (nothing like waiting for the last minute). Loves

Sunday at the park.
Today did not turn out as planned...but it was great! We had planned on going over to St. Augustine this morning and walking around, going to the fort. But, it was just too cold. Plus, we had other things we needed to do (laundry, grocery shopping). We went to breakfast at the flying biscuit (delicious!) with Adam's Mom. It was really busy so by the time we were done we had decided to run over to Furniture Kingdom to show Irene some Chairs we liked for our table. We've been looking around for chairs for a while but have had a hard time finding some that we though were reasonably priced. We were planning on getting these chairs from Wal Mart but Irene wanted to see the other ones we liked. So as soon as we got there (we had been to Wal Mart before breakfast and looked at the other ones) we knew that these were the best ones. They were a bit more than what we wanted to spend but we had been saving up for some and they are good quality (Ashley brand) chairs. They will last us a lot longer than the Wal Mart ones (plus they look better).
After we brought them home, Sadie took a nap and Irene, Adam and I chatted. Irene left to get Henry and then after Sadie got up we went to the park! We didn't stay long though because it was really cold! It was a great day.
Saturday, my Mom watched Sadie (while we were at work) and she brought over all this stuff of mine that she had saved. There were old report cards, my audition numbers from my Nutcracker auditions, noted I wrote to her and my Dad. It was really cool. She also brought over this cute plastic tea set that was mine. She had cleaned it all up so now Sadie can play with it! She brought over some of the clothes than my Mama had made for me and some of my old T shirts. Sadie wore one today! I am so thankful that my Mom saved that stuff. It's neat to go back and look at it all. I wish I was better about saving stuff for Sadie. Well, enjoy the pics (BTW-the piece of furniture with the lamp on it is the bottom half of a china hutch that my mom gave me. We aren't sure what we are going to do...paint, re-stain, etc). Loves

New pics
Here a couple of new pics. Both are from this past Tuesday. I had been making some "play" jewelry for Sadie out of those plastic beads. I set them up on the shelf next to the tv. Well, little missy used her basket insert (hard plastic) and got to that container (I was loading the dishwasher with in eye shot but she was quick!) and poured all those beads out and started flinging them across the room! Oh, Sadie. Anyway, Sadie helped me pick up all those little beads and put them back into the container. Good thing she loves to put stuff back in to containers! The other pics is of her on her new potty. We aren't rushing in to potty training but Dr. Rosi said that we should let her start getting used to it, sitting on it, etc that way it won't be as scary when she is ready. She hasn't gone in it yet but she loves to sit on it. Enjoy the pics. Loves.

Not Much
Last weekend we went to Jacksonville, we went to the museum of science and history. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get too many pics in the museum other than the play area. They wouldn't let you do flash photos where the fish (which is why there is 1 pic!) or other animals. Also where all the memorabilia is. But, we got pics of Sadie playing in the kids area. She had a blast though, we all did. This weekend was much more low key. Adam and I worked Saturday and all of us are getting over a cold and my tummy is not very happy. A year later and I still have problems with food (after my gall bladder surgery). Oh well. I told Adam some days I feel like I should just stick to cereal all the time. Maybe that would help! It's too bad I love food! Again...oh well. It's probably best anyways. Sadie has her check up this week (Tuesday) I am anxious to see what Dr. Rosi says. Anyhow, Enjoy the pics! Loves...oh! BTW this is my 200th post!

O2B Sadie!
These pics are from this past weekend. Since it was so cold out we decided not to go "hiking" in Paynes Prairie and took Sadie to O2B Kids instead. You can "pay to play" instead of getting a membership. It was really fun...Sadie had a good time too! I was off today but Sadie and I stayed at the house all day. Adam's battery was dead this morning so he took my car (there wasn't any space near his car to pull my car to jump him). SO, Sadie and I were here all day hanging out. We went to the playground 2 times, took a walk, colored, played with play doh and watched a little PBS. A nice chilled out day. Back to work tomorrow, but I'm off all weekend! We are going to try to go up to Jacksonville to the Museum of Science and History. There are a couple of exhibits I want to check out. Sadie has been a chatter box lately! She says bear, cat, ball, uh-oh, hi, bye bye, bird, duck...a bunch of new words. Of course it's toddler talk, but you can tell what she's saying! It's so exciting. Also, she'll sort of ask me stuff. She "asked" me to get her more milk today. She showed me her cup and said "more". So super awesome! Enjoy the pics. Loves.

Chilly Sunday
Nothing too exciting going on in the Shugan household. Just trying to stay inside where it's warm! Ran a few errands today, nothing exciting. Adam's mom and brother Henry came over and had dinner, then we played my new karaoke game that Henry gave me for Hanukkah. It was fun. Sadie even sang a little bit. Other than that we are all well. All 3 of us are suffering from nasal congestion and sinus pressure. Hopefully it's nothing. No one has a fever or anything just annoying! Anyhow, these are pics from the last couple of days. enjoy. Loves!

Christmas
So, we had a great Christmas. Spent the morning with my Mom and Tommy. Had a great time hanging out. Left and went to Mama and Papa's house. Got to see Mary and Kat and Nathan (Kat's Boyfriend). Sadie has a great time there too (we all did). Later we went by my Dad's house and saw him, Carrie and Gma and Gpa J. All in all it was a nice, relaxed, family-filled Christmas. I couldn't ask for better. Sadie seemed to enjoy herself everywhere and we all got some really nice things. Sadie had her 18 month check up yesterday.Dr. Rosi said that she is very smart. above her age developmentally and with her fine motor skills, verbal skills, being able to understand you and follow directions. So, that's great! She is in the 5th percentile for her weight (19.5 pounds) 20 percentile for her height (30.75 inches) and 30 percentile for her head. She said she is small but based on our family size and that Sadie is growing, she isn't concerned. She wants to continue to monitor her weight and height to make sure she continues to grow but she said she wasn't concerned. As far as walking, she is a little concerned about that. She is almost 18 months and should be walking, however, Sadie is EXTREMELY double jointed (Rosi almost could turn her legs 180 degrees with no resistance!). She said that's most likely the main reason Sadie is taking so long to walk. She said she is doing the movement of her legs well and everything, she just 1. doesn't want to walk and 2. has a harder time with her flexibility. So, we have to take her back in a month for a re-check for weight and walking. Dr. Rosi said if she's not really making much progress with walking we will take her to a physical therapist for a little help. No big deal. I kind of figured something like that would be coming. But, Dr. Rosi was very impressed with her and that makes me happy. Sadie got the other half of her flu shot and that was it. So, we'll see how she does and take her back in a month. Other than that not much to report. Sadie is as cute as always. Adam is working his butt off and I'm somewhere in the middle! Well, Enjoy the pics! Loves
