Cute pics

So, as you can see, our little girl has started pulling herself up in her crib. Adam and I went into her room on Sunday morning and there she was, standing up! We had just moved her mattress down to the lowest height a few weeks ago. Good thing! Sadie has been a little bit sick the last couple of days. No fever, just the stuffy/runny nose and a slight cough. We have been continuing with the "benadryl" for her allergies/constant runny nose. It had been helping...but...daycare! She has been getting through this little cold faster and easier than usual. She kind of developed a cough and we have been giving her nebulizer treatments so she doesn't get any sicker. Other than that everything is as usual. Nothing too terribly exciting. We are going to try and do something next Sunday (I work this Sunday), maybe go to the beach or Sea World or something. Adam really wants to go camping, but I think we will try and wait until it cools off just a bit more. Well, I hope everyone else is doing very well. Loves.
Today's Kabbalah:
We can all be too judgemental of what we think are our weaknesses. We lose power when we focus on ourselves. All we see is the bad stuff, then we put too much energy in hiding. This drains us AND stops others from getting close.
Tell yourself it's ok today.Whatever it is, however messy. It's ok. Things could always be worse and things will always get better. it's ok.

jump up and snuggle in...

Adam and I got a new bed (frame)...My grandparents were getting a new one so we got the one they'd been using. It's a beautiful 4 poster "rice" bed. It's so big. Luckily we have a big bedroom with 9 foot ceilings! We picked it up from their house on Sunday. Last night I was afraid I was going to fall out of it! We will be getting new bedside tables soon. The ones we have don't match, plus they are WAY too short for the height of the bed.

Sadie is doing well. She has been having a small cold. All nasal drainage and sneezing. This time, though, we have already been giving her medicine for her allergies. Hopefully it won't get too bad. Tonight we also have the warm mist humidifier on with the vicks stuff. It seems to help.

Friday was my Bday! 28...yikes. Now, Adam and I are the same age until September (then he'll be 29!!!). On Saturday night Adam took me to Farrah's for dinner. All I wanted was a big juicy burger and a beer. So, that's what I had. After we had some dessert and then saw a movie. Sadie spent the night at her Gigi's house.

Yesterday, Sadie started eating animal crackers! I gave her 1 at Publix for her to gum on and before I knew it she ate the whole thing! I gave her another one and she wolfed it down (that is what she's eating in the pics). So, I guess our little monkey has a new favorite food!

the pics of the pictures are some of the portraits we had done at the picture people, in the mall. We did that on Sadie's Bday.

Today's Kabbalah:

Changing the world happens when we treat people like people, not like objects. Tomorrow, take the time to understand other people's situations and try to forge a real connection.

Smiles and sunshine!

These are a couple of the toys Sissy bug got for her birthday. She seems to enjoy both very much! She has been so silly. Tonight she was splashing and giggling and blowing raspberries, while she was in the tub. She has definitely got a big personality for such a little thing! Nothing much to say other than Adam is working hard, as usual, and Sasa is doing very well. She has been drooling and rubbing EVERYTHING against her gums. I think her top teeth will be making an appearance very soon. Well, that's all for now. Loves
Today's Kabbalah:
How do we connect to God? Transformation. Each time we resist our ego-our self-centered nature that wants to react, scream, yell and worry-we connect
Today, when your buttons are pushed, when some annoying individual incites you to anger, resist your reflexive response. Do the opposite

Happy Birthday Sadie!!!

I can't believe our little girl is 1 year old. It has flown by. Today we celebrated by having our family pics done at the picture people. They turned out really well. It was hard to just pic the few. I can't post any yet because I haven't gotten the email link yet. Sadie just hung out. We played and did our pics and my mom came by for a bit. Adam went out to the movies with Bobby tonight, Sadie is sleeping and I have been cleaning up the house. It feels like yesterday I was pregnant and now, here she is 1! Next thing we know, she'll be walking and talking (and talking back!). I am sad to be ending this stage (of babyhood) but I am looking forward to all the stages to come. Loves.

Today's Kabbalah:

Our failing can be easily observed by others, but only with great difficulty can we see them ourselves. That's why embracing criticism and asking for feedback is a true sign of greatness.

Today, see yourself from someone else's point of view.

Sadie's Bday party

Below are the pics from Sadie's 1st Bday party. There's like 25 so be patient! Above are pics from Adam's parents house on Sunday. There's only3. Enjoy all the pics. We go tomorrow to have the professional pics done. Hope they turn out well. Loves

Today's Kabbalah:

If we are going to be happy and have a chance at growing then we must learn how to forgive others and ourselves. Lack of forgiveness is us thinking we know everything and we don't. And that's a good thing because it's in the not knowing that the magic happens.
Today don't just expect it-practice it, show it live it. Forgiveness is love in action.
