battle wounds...more at the bottom

so here are my battle wounds! lol. excuse my yucky bloated tummy....more blog below!

So...

When I went to meet with the surgeon on Wednesday I didn't think I'd be back so soon! I went to work on Thursday, felt fine. After lunch my tummy kinda started to hurt, it got progressively worse. I went out to do notices and after about 10-12 of them I could barely stand up straight. I went back to the office and ended up going home. I called Adam and told him I needed to go to the ER again, he couldn't leave work right away so I called my mom and she came and got me and took me to North Florida's ER. I was, at this point in such excruciating pain I was dry heaving. When we got to the ER it was taking forever, so my mom called the surgeon on call and explained the situation. He said that it can't wait until Feb 3rd, I need to have my gall bladder out now! So, I got admitted to the hospital and Friday They took my gall bladder out. According to what the surgeon said, I not only had large stones in my gall bladder, it was also quite thick and enlarged. It had actually been totally non-functioning for a while and got thick and large from trying to work. So, it's good that it came out when it did because I could've been much sicker. He also said that other issues I've been having with my tummy should resolve themselves now that my gall bladder is gone. Anyhow, so my gall bladder is gone. I had a rough time with the anesthesia, it really kicked my butt until late yesterday. I, unfortunately vomited and was very disoriented. I mostly just slept. I finally came home on Saturday morning and have been trying to take it easy (I'm so bored). Playing with Sadie as best I can. I have 4 incisions. One right about where my stomach is (that's where they pulled the gall bladder out), 2 under my right rib cage and one on my belly button. The ones under my rib cage hurt the most. especially when I throw up or cough or...well, do anything. Actually it's sorta funny, they had to put a breathing tube down my throat, so my throut is scratchy and it kinda makes you have to cough, but it kills me to cough, gotta love it! It's starting to get better, I can get up and down by myself now.
Adam has been wonderful through all of this(no surprise there). He's been taking good care of me and handling everything. Sadie stayed at Adam's parent's house on Thursday night and my mom watched her Friday night. She is doing well. She definitely missed me. All she wants me to do is cuddle her. I love to but I can't pick her up too much. It still hurts! But, hopefully I'll better than ever in the next week. I would like to be back to work by the end of the week but we'll see. Every time i move to quick or cough or talk too loud it feels like my incisions are ripped open. As I said though...it's getting better with each passing moment. I am so glad they got that darn thing out when they did! Well, I am sleepy and it hurts to sit like this for too long so. Loves y'all
oh! Sadie got pink eye sometime during all of this! Dr. Rosi called her in some eye drops (prescription) so she should be all better soon. Other than that she is perfect
