Well, I guess I did not keep up with my end of the bargain, dear blog readers. I vowed to be better about posting and...well...we all know how that turned out. Here are some of the pictures from our weekend in Orlando. We all had such a great time at Sea World, especially Sadie. We also had a great dinner with Ross and Carolina, after Sea World at the Mall at Millenia (after a quick trip to Ikea, of course). Sadie had a big birthday dinner of mac and cheese followed by bubble gum flavored ice cream. When we were going back to the hotel from dinner, we saw fireworks near the hotel, we found out they were at Sea World, right across the street from the hotel!
So, we sat in the car and snuggled and watched fireworks.We didn't do any rides at Sea World, mostly because Sadie doesn't really seem to like fireworks. We did, go to several shows and she (and we) really enjoyed those. After dinner Ross and Carolina gave Sadie her birthday present- a new, big girl bike!! She also got a doll house (from my Dad and Carrie) and ballet lessons from my Mom and Tommy. I will be posting more pics of those soon.
Work and school have been going well. Other than being tired, Adam is doing well. Sadie is having a great time in school, as usual. She will be starting the Pre-K class on August 20th. I am excited and sad, all at the same time. Work for me is great, we switched to 12 hour shifts so I am only working 3 days a week now, it's a mix of good and bad. Lots more pics to follow.
