Cabin fever

Sadie and I have been hanging out in our pj's the last couple of days and I think we are both suffering from a bit of cabin fever. It really is so funny how badly you want to go and do stuff when you know you can't! That's okay though better safe than sorry. I did open the sliding door and windows since it was so nice out today. Sadie spent most of the day being silly and I tried to rest. Adam was home until 1:30 and then he had to go to work so I've been trying to manage Sadie since then. Well, not manage her, she's been her usual wonderful self. It's just difficult for me to lift her and carry her and all that stuff that usually comes easily. Plus I have to move slow when I get up and down otherwise it feels like my incisions are ripping open. I know all that will get better with time, so until then I just have to tell myself to be patient and not in a hurry and that's what's best for me and Sadie right now. My dad and Carrie came by this evening to check on me. Carrie helped me bathe Sadie and we got to visit for a bit. It was really nice. My only other big "issue" I've been having is my getting sick almost every time I eat. That I can really do without. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat (although I haven't gotten sick from plain, dry toast). I am sticking to a bland diet with virtually no fats (which is by my choice, not the doc's). I just keep drinking water and ginger ale and eating toast and crackers and hopefully my body will catch on. The upside...I am losing weight like nobody's business! Yes, I know, it's not healthy. Anyhow. Enough complaining. In a week or two I'll be better than ever and hopefully this will all be a thing of the past. Sadie goes back to Dr. Rosi's office later this week to get reweighed. I am so interested to see what she weighs now. She has only been to daycare 2 times since her last appointment. Well, sleep tight everyone. Loves.
