I wanted to post more pics of the girl. These are over the last week or two. Sadie just being Sadie. Things are pretty normal around here (knock on wood) Sadie has been having fun at school this week and Adam and I are working. Adam had to be at work at 4 am!! He got off at 3pm and took a nap. Busy Weekend

We've seen all 3 sets of parents this weekend!!

Friday my Dad and Carrie came over for dinner. We had a lot of fun and Sadie was super cute as usual. She was walking around in my glasses being a goof and showing off for her grandparents. After Sadie went to bed we were going to play scene it, but Adam and Dad got caught up in baseball. So, Carrie and I went into our bedroom and watched "say yes to the dress" and looked at the new Ikea catalogue. It was a great evening. Saturday Sadie and I ran some errands and hung out. Later in the afternoon my Mom came over and hung out for a while. After my Mom left and Adam came home Adam, Sadie and I went out to the Original Pizza Palace and got some pizza, beer and garlic knots. They were all ridiculously delicious. Almost as good as the pizza we had in Chicago. Today we went to the park, in the morning since it wasn't raining or blazingly hot outside. We met my Mom and Tommy for lunch and then went bowling. Sadie had a GREAT time bowling. We got one of those sloped racks so that she could play too. She really enjoyed pushing the ball. She would do it and then stand there waiting until the pins fell down, then she would dance. It was so awesome. After that we ran over to Adam's parents' house to give Adam's Mom her birthday present. Her birthday was last Tuesday but our gift was embroidered so it wasn't ready yet. We hung out for a bit then went out to dinner with them. It was a great evening. Sadie is in bed now, resting up for school tomorrow. Hope everybody has a great week. I have lots of pics to post. Sunday.

Just wanted to post some pictures of little miss cutie pie. Nothing too terribly exciting has been going on this weekend. Jst getting chores and some shopping done and swimming. Sadie is doing really well. She played hard this weekend and had fun. Just put her down and she was rubbing her little eyes. She's worn out! We colored and played in her "house" and went swimming. Also she went with mommy to get Bubbe's bday present (it's Tuesday!). We will be meeting them out for dinner to celebrate. Pics to follow (provided I remember the camera!). Other than that things are good. Our downstairs neighbors seemed to have bought a new surround sound set up...it definately works! Hopefully things won't get loud. We love out building, everyone is nice and respectful. Let's hope it stays that way! Hope everyone has a good week.

Sadie, Hands-on

This past weekend Adam was off so we went up to Jacksonville and took Sadie to the Hands-on Children's museum. It was a lot of fun! Sadie got to play in the "vet" are, the "substation", the "grocery store" and some other fun little areas. It made me want to go back to Chicago and take her to the children's museum there again. Now that she can really have fun! She seemed to really enjoy herself. After, we went over to the avenues mall. We walked around and got some lunch. Then we came home. We were all really worn out by then (as you can see from the picture!). Sunday Adam played baseball at the park with some friends and Sadie and I hung out with Gigi. It was nice to see Gigi and play. Today was back to work for Adam and I and back to school for Sadie. Adam and I went to bed very late last night, we got sucked into a movie that ended very late and then stayed up talking about it for a while. So, early to bed for us tonight. Adam has to be to work at 5:30am!!! Yuck! Other than that, we are just doing our thing. Enjoying our life. Loves

Sadie, Sadie, pretty lady

It's been a while since I've posted. Nothing really exciting or even note worthy has happened. Just normal life. Work, play, sleep, repeat! Sadie had her 2 year check up with Dr. Rosi. She is 21.5 pounds and 32.25 inches tall. She is our tiny dancer (hee hee). Dr. Rosi said that she is on the very low end of the growth scale but that for Sadie's growth scale, she is doing great. She said that she will most likely just always be very petite; And that she is developing her motor skills and everything else at or beyond where she should be. Dr. Rosi was very impressed with her cognitive skills and said that is well over the growth curve in that aspect. Adam and I were very happy to hear that. She didn't have to get any shots this time. She was supposed to get one, but because it's almost back to school time they had run out. Dr. Rosi has Sadie on a very spread out shot schedule anyway, due to her size and her (Dr. Rosi) and our wishes, so we will get that shot soon. We do run in to occasions where there are things that she HAS to have because of daycare. I think we're both okay with that though. I am not totally against shots, just not all at once and back to back. But, I digress.

We have 2 wedding coming up in the next little bit. My cousin Crystal is getting married (yay!). Her wedding is next month in Atlanta, well actually outside of Atlanta. On a lake! We are planning on driving up there. I am really excited. Also, Adam's best friend, Booby, and his girlfriend Liz are getting married in January. In Vegas!! Adam is the best man so we HAVE to go (oh darn). I'm VERY excited to go to Vegas. It is a theme wedding, Star Wars. So, we will be dressing up (Pics to follow...lol).

Other than that, we are just chugging along. We are going to try and do something fun this weekend. Adam is off on Saturday (yippee). Loves.
