On the move

Things have been crazy for me lately. Work has been insane! We had the full time person that works at Cricket Club II (the girl who took my old job) quit, so I have been back and forth covering over there as well as my regular Portfolio Manager job. I have been working 50+ hour weeks and am exhausted every night. Anyhow, it's been a little nutty and I haven't really had the energy to post. On the upside, we have found a replacement for my replacement and she starts Tuesday. So, I will be training her next week and after that, hopefully I can just concentrate on doing one job (and just in time for turn!).
Since things have been a little crazy lately, I decided to take a PTO day this past Friday so I could have a 4 day weekend. Friday I basically worked from home catching up without interruptions. Saturday Sadie and I played and went to the museum, today we went swimming and went grocery shopping. Tomorrow will be another laid back day.
The pics I posted are from my phone. Since I always have it with me, I usually get quite a few pics on there that never make it to the blog. Also, since we haven't been doing as much family stuff the last month, I don't have any new pictures on the camera! Hmmm...what have we done lately?
Adam and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary (**dreamy smile**), we have been doing work on the house (ah, home ownership) like the roof, replacing AC parts, siding work (it was dry rotted). We have been asking Sadie what kind of party she wants for her birthday (Mickey Mouse or Curious George) and pretty much just trying to hold on to each other as much as possible. We have been riding our bikes a lot. Sadie has been LOVING her trailer and we go as many places as possible on our bikes. Once I am back at one office all the time, I am going to go back to riding my bike to work, I'm excited about that.
Other than that, there is not much else to say. Sadie is great, she is as sassy as ever. I cut her hair again this year. She is starting to get very independent about doing things on her own and does not like me to do anything to her hair. She was going home to school with her hair pulled back and brushed and coming home with gobs of questionable sticky stuff in her hair. So... I cut her hair. Yes, I cut her hair. It actually looks pretty cute. Everyone has said she looks adorable, so I guess I did okay.
I would also like to take a minute to say thank you to my family members (Papa, Grandaddy J,Uncle Ron, Aunt Dona, Uncle David) and everyone else out there who are or who have served our country. It takes an amazing sacrifice to do that. Thank you!
I'm going to go enjoy my hubby and a good movie!
