It's inevitable...

I went to the surgeon today. He told me that I definitely need my gall bladder removed. He said if I wait the stones could end up blocking the bile ducts, causing pancreatitis and then I'll have to have emergency surgery (they would have to slice me open instead of laproscopic). So...I opted to have it done as opposed to waiting. I'm having it February 3rd. I'm a little nervous. Mostly about having to go under anesthesia and also being in pain after. I can't really pick Sadie up for about 48 hours after, then I can't lift more than 20lbs for a week. I guess that's that. Sadie and I had a good day today. We played in the morning. She took a really long nap then I took her to Adam's parent's house so his mom could watch her while I was at my appointment. I was all excited because Adam opened today so I made a really nice dinner (curry chicken mixed with spinach, black beans, corn, pilaf and peaches with corn bread muffins on the side). Then, just as we're about to sit down to eat his boss calls and says one of the girls that works with him is "sick" and can't stay till closing. So, Adam had to go back to work after dinner. I feel so bad for him. He had already taken a shower and got into his comfy clothes. He barely had a minute to relax. Tomorrow he work 9am-9pm so everybody send him some good energy vibes! Well, I guess that's all for now. Loves

Good morning Wonderful parents and Precious Sadie!

Sarah, I am glad you have your surgery scheduled and pray that all goes well while waiting and after the surgery. Please have Adam call if you need us for anything.

Tell Sadie that if she keeps pouching up those sweet rosebud lips that she is going to get kissed....she is "asking for it" when she does that. In the olden days when children were misbehaving the parents would tell them (several times!), "you are just asking for it"! I think they were saying that the mis-behaving child was going to have to go to time out or get a spanking if they did not stop mis-behaving. Most of the time they did not get either but it was a way to get the children's attention when all else failed. But then we know Sadie will never need to hear those words of warning....right?!

Love to all of you, mama and papa
