Sunday at the park.
Today did not turn out as planned...but it was great! We had planned on going over to St. Augustine this morning and walking around, going to the fort. But, it was just too cold. Plus, we had other things we needed to do (laundry, grocery shopping). We went to breakfast at the flying biscuit (delicious!) with Adam's Mom. It was really busy so by the time we were done we had decided to run over to Furniture Kingdom to show Irene some Chairs we liked for our table. We've been looking around for chairs for a while but have had a hard time finding some that we though were reasonably priced. We were planning on getting these chairs from Wal Mart but Irene wanted to see the other ones we liked. So as soon as we got there (we had been to Wal Mart before breakfast and looked at the other ones) we knew that these were the best ones. They were a bit more than what we wanted to spend but we had been saving up for some and they are good quality (Ashley brand) chairs. They will last us a lot longer than the Wal Mart ones (plus they look better).
After we brought them home, Sadie took a nap and Irene, Adam and I chatted. Irene left to get Henry and then after Sadie got up we went to the park! We didn't stay long though because it was really cold! It was a great day.
Saturday, my Mom watched Sadie (while we were at work) and she brought over all this stuff of mine that she had saved. There were old report cards, my audition numbers from my Nutcracker auditions, noted I wrote to her and my Dad. It was really cool. She also brought over this cute plastic tea set that was mine. She had cleaned it all up so now Sadie can play with it! She brought over some of the clothes than my Mama had made for me and some of my old T shirts. Sadie wore one today! I am so thankful that my Mom saved that stuff. It's neat to go back and look at it all. I wish I was better about saving stuff for Sadie. Well, enjoy the pics (BTW-the piece of furniture with the lamp on it is the bottom half of a china hutch that my mom gave me. We aren't sure what we are going to do...paint, re-stain, etc). Loves

New pics
Here a couple of new pics. Both are from this past Tuesday. I had been making some "play" jewelry for Sadie out of those plastic beads. I set them up on the shelf next to the tv. Well, little missy used her basket insert (hard plastic) and got to that container (I was loading the dishwasher with in eye shot but she was quick!) and poured all those beads out and started flinging them across the room! Oh, Sadie. Anyway, Sadie helped me pick up all those little beads and put them back into the container. Good thing she loves to put stuff back in to containers! The other pics is of her on her new potty. We aren't rushing in to potty training but Dr. Rosi said that we should let her start getting used to it, sitting on it, etc that way it won't be as scary when she is ready. She hasn't gone in it yet but she loves to sit on it. Enjoy the pics. Loves.

Not Much
Last weekend we went to Jacksonville, we went to the museum of science and history. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get too many pics in the museum other than the play area. They wouldn't let you do flash photos where the fish (which is why there is 1 pic!) or other animals. Also where all the memorabilia is. But, we got pics of Sadie playing in the kids area. She had a blast though, we all did. This weekend was much more low key. Adam and I worked Saturday and all of us are getting over a cold and my tummy is not very happy. A year later and I still have problems with food (after my gall bladder surgery). Oh well. I told Adam some days I feel like I should just stick to cereal all the time. Maybe that would help! It's too bad I love food! Again...oh well. It's probably best anyways. Sadie has her check up this week (Tuesday) I am anxious to see what Dr. Rosi says. Anyhow, Enjoy the pics! Loves...oh! BTW this is my 200th post!

O2B Sadie!
These pics are from this past weekend. Since it was so cold out we decided not to go "hiking" in Paynes Prairie and took Sadie to O2B Kids instead. You can "pay to play" instead of getting a membership. It was really fun...Sadie had a good time too! I was off today but Sadie and I stayed at the house all day. Adam's battery was dead this morning so he took my car (there wasn't any space near his car to pull my car to jump him). SO, Sadie and I were here all day hanging out. We went to the playground 2 times, took a walk, colored, played with play doh and watched a little PBS. A nice chilled out day. Back to work tomorrow, but I'm off all weekend! We are going to try to go up to Jacksonville to the Museum of Science and History. There are a couple of exhibits I want to check out. Sadie has been a chatter box lately! She says bear, cat, ball, uh-oh, hi, bye bye, bird, duck...a bunch of new words. Of course it's toddler talk, but you can tell what she's saying! It's so exciting. Also, she'll sort of ask me stuff. She "asked" me to get her more milk today. She showed me her cup and said "more". So super awesome! Enjoy the pics. Loves.

Chilly Sunday
Nothing too exciting going on in the Shugan household. Just trying to stay inside where it's warm! Ran a few errands today, nothing exciting. Adam's mom and brother Henry came over and had dinner, then we played my new karaoke game that Henry gave me for Hanukkah. It was fun. Sadie even sang a little bit. Other than that we are all well. All 3 of us are suffering from nasal congestion and sinus pressure. Hopefully it's nothing. No one has a fever or anything just annoying! Anyhow, these are pics from the last couple of days. enjoy. Loves!
