Just can't believe I haven't posted in over a month! I can only say that we have not been bringing our camera with us when we go places. There is something wrong with every single camera we own! Our big Kodak, the LCD screen is broken (it was broken on our "canoe trip of near death" the day before I found out I was pregnant with Sadie), our Kodak easy share won't accept any of our cards (they fit, it just says error), our Fuji has a broken flash and our hand-me-down Fuji turns off in the middle of taking a picture. All I can say is that I am ready to buy a nice camera and throw the others in the can!! This picture (above) is courtesy of Adam's cell phone (go figure). And that concludes the "my cameras stink" rant, portion of the evening.
Things are moving along, just doing our thing. Some of our shows are back on this week. I am jazzed about the new episodes of dancing with the stars!!
Sadie is doing great, she is almost completely potty trained with accidents only here and there. I definitely think the move to the 3 year old class did it. I am so proud of her. She is really growing up and is very funny. She is too smart! Tonight, she turned the tv on and took the dvd out of the player. Adam walks in as she is doing this and asks her where she put the dvd. She went to where she had put it but it wasn't there (it had fallen behind the basket). Adam kept asking her where it was and told her to try and find it. He was walking away (back to the kitchen) and she says "I don't like you daddy, you're rude". I had to turn away because I wanted to laugh so hard! She just had this little scrunched up nose and furrowed brown and is so serious when she said it. Hilarious. Once I gained my composure, I reminded her that we do not speak to adults that way.
She also has started coming upstairs a lot of mornings and climbing in bed with us in the mornings (usually about 30 or so minutes before the alarm is set to go off). I LOVE that she is doing this now. She doesn't do it any other time, just early in the morning. It is so nice, she just climbs in bed and snuggles up next to me.
Well, I am ready to climb in bed and snuggle with my hubby!

Oh, Sarah! I love the picture and reading about what goes on behind "closed doors" at the Shugan House. Our bedroom in G'ville was upstairs and being a story and a half house, our bedroom upstairs was like a tree house...from our bed you looked right out into the trees. It was wonderful. When you stayed overnight with us we all three slept together with you in the middle. You would wake in the mornings with the most beautiful smile on your face...you lit up the room and it was like a jump start for us and what we had to do that day. So I know how Sadie climbing in the bed with you early in the morning is like a B-12 shot and makes your day start off with a song in your heart.
Love you all very much, mama and papa
She IS the most adorable girl in the world! I am sooooo lucky to have her in my life ........ and her parents too!
Love the picture, it shows her personality so well.
Love you all,
